Great musicians make their instruments sing and Suzuki students have the ability to produce and recognise a beauƟful, ringing tone quality on their instrument. Suzuki believed that a student must learn TonalizaƟon in order to properly reproduce and perform music. TEACHING TOOLS Cuƫng-edge technology for music teachers, tools to make teaching easier, more fun and more creaƟve. Spend more Ɵme teaching and less Ɵme on scheduling, cancellaƟons, makeups, event reminders and lesson notes. Learn how the internet has changed how we teach music. TECHNIQUE Further study of musical technique and the ability of musicians to exert opƟmal control of instruments in order to produce the precise musical effects they desire. Improving musical technique and pracƟsing exercises to improve muscular sensiƟvity and agility. NETWORK With so many online resources and communiƟes, conƟnuing to network as a music teacher should be part of all teachers’ acƟviƟes when it comes to career development. It is crucial to feeling a part of a wider community of music teachers and brings with it the confidence and support that we all need as teachers, as well as providing a plaƞorm to exchange experience and knowledge with others to mutual benefit. REPERTOIRE In constant pursuit of improving the quality of the repertoire – a common repertoire which allows each student to parƟcipate in group classes, helps foster local and internaƟonal musical community and camaraderie, and provides moƟvaƟon for students to learn new music while keeping the 'old' pieces they have learned in top form.
