27 Jenny Macmillan of Cambridge Suzuki Group organised a playathon for her pupils and some trainees at a local secondary school on Sunday 7 January 2024. StarƟng with about 25 keyboards, they played all Suzuki books 1 and 2 and 3 and most of book 4 and some of books 5 and 6. G ive a Child a Teacher is a special Fundraising Campaign organised by the European Suzuki AssociaƟon (ESA) each year to raise funds to give more children the opportunity of a SUZUKI educaƟon. This money is donated to the SUZUKI Teaching Trust (STT) which is a charity concerned with making SUZUKI Teaching in music available to children in the ESA region. Students of Mary Howles of The Violin Hut, Kidderminster donated monies raised at their Christmas busking in December 2023 The youngest students of Jane Panter, Liverpool Suzuki Violin Group raised funds through a sponsored pracƟce, pictured at the Christmas Concert in December 2023. Give a Child a Teacher 2023 Students of Rachel Raval of the Ipswich Suzuki Cello Studio raised funds partly by sponsored pracƟces and partly through a donaƟon at the December concert.
