Hannesson, Executive Trustee on suzukiteachingtrust@gmail.com Türkiye A violin course held by the Turkish Suzuki Association in Istanbul and directed by Christophe Bossuat received partial funding to cover the shortfall in fees. The course started in February 2024 and ended with exams in October 2024. 16 teachers at levels 1, 2 and 5 participated. Hungary A cello teachers’ course held by the new re-constructed Hungarian Suzuki Music Pedagogical Association (HSMPA), with Annette Costanzi as teacher trainer, received a grant from the Trust. The total amount of the grant is GBP 4,000 of which GBP 2,000 was paid in 2024. The course started in August 2024 and is planned to be completed in 2025. Five teachers are participating. About the Trust Since becoming a registered Charity in 2002, the Trust has supported many large and small Teacher Training projects. Our overhead costs remain minimal with Trustees covering their own expenses. With the continued help from the European Suzuki Community and especially the commitment from teacher trainers, we are confident that we are in a good position to continue the work of developing the SUZUKI™ approach to Music Education.
